DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

There is a wealth of information that can be used to begin this element to drive the direction of the organization and associated facilities.  Looking at core stories, developing a through line, creating characters and targeted entertainment, and so forth is a tremendous asset and can be used for marketing materials, pre-sales, product development, even interior design.  Everything from the music used in all outlets to the way guests are greeted fall under this component capturing the spirit of the organization and using the entertainment and storytelling as a foundation platform, informing each avenue.

 

ENTERTAINMENT

Work with identified team members to create a variety entertainment options for location with attention to budget and personnel to maximize guest experience in novel ways that support the organization’s goals.

 

  • Evaluate current productions/shows/events

  • Research variety of entertainment options (traditional theatre, non-traditional theatre, parades, atmospheric presentations, etc.) that align with organization objectives and site capabilities

  • Research culturally-based entertainment and interests

  • Develop rough outlines of recommended productions for existing and proposed (identified) venues:

    • Full-scale production theatre

    • Smaller theatres

    • Atmosphere/streetmosphere performances

    • Parades

    • Other outlets (retail, F&B, queues, etc.)

    • Costumed characters (mascots)

  • Research theatrical venue types for recommendation based on production considerations

  • Create show proposals including:

    • Show treatments

    • Theatre technical requirements

    • Artistic production staff

    • Stage operations (crew)

    • Back-of-house/front-of-house staff

    • Performers

    • Development timeline (singular and concurrent)

  • Characters/Mascots

    • Review current characters (if applicable)

    • Develop new characters (if applicable

  • Develop Character Handbook

  • Develop roster of potential entertainment avenues specific to characters

  • Create Character entertainment opportunities proposals

 

 

RESTAURANTS/FOOD EATERIES

Work with identified team members to elevate theming and entertainment options for location with attention to budget and personnel to maximize guest experience in novel ways that support the organization’s goals and drive sales.

 

  • Evaluate theme park eateries

    • Review current offerings with F&B team

    • Research basic menu preferences for theming development

    • Evaluate missed, misplaced, or weak product

  • Determine general mix

    • Locations

    • Traffic patterns

    • Food offerings at each outlet

  • Develop rough concepts for eateries including:

    • Theming for location

    • Menu theming

    • Staffing (entertainment-based training, uniforms)

  • Create written restaurant proposals featuring themed elements and front-of-house (guest) experience

 

 

RETAIL

Work with identified team members to elevate theming and entertainment options for location with attention to budget and personnel to maximize guest experience in novel ways that support the organization’s goals and drive sales.

 

  • Evaluate shop types and locations

  • Review current established theme park product mix

  • Research general guest demographics

  • Determine base mix of product for multiple demographics by age, gender, and national and international guests

  • Research theming options

  • Develop shop recommendations including:

    • Shop theme

    • Target audience

    • Base product mix

    • New/missing product recommendations

 

 

IDEA & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT and ALIGNMENT

I can help you with the current model or ideas that are being tossed around, help to tighten up the scope and assist in tangent thought processes that would grow the experiential experience for guests on multiple levels.  Taking into account the projected demographics and the needs, desires, and interests of those demographics it allows for some development “blue sky” thoughts prior to Master Planning that can be honed down when that Master Planner comes on board and begins to determine layouts and additional feasibility.

 

  • Discuss goals and objectives for organization – provide valuable insight through different communication resources to better inform development

  • Develop Branded Retail Product recommendations

  • Develop Branded Entertainment Product recommendations

  • Develop Branded Marketing objectives, directions, program recommendations

  • Develop roster of potential entertainment avenues

BRANDING

Establishing, reviewing, revising, or redeveloping organizational branding can often be the key in creating a fresh image for any business. Working with an identified team, this process can create a distinct focal point that informs all aspects of the operation.

RATES

Rates are variable based on duration of programming, in addition to travel, transportation, visa, hotel, and meal expenses

 

Multiple programs are offer discounted rates

 

Specific requests for personalization, such as review/incorporation of a specific park, retail space, existing program, for inclusion in program may involve additional hourly fee schedule

 

Location procurement and associated needs responsibility of client, in addition to all required supplies for program, including print outs, whiteboards, markers, highlighters, pens, pencils, erasers, and similar, to be provided for workshop execution and deliverables for attendees by client.
