  • ENTERTAINMENT

Meow Wolf Omega Mart (Las Vegas), Convergence Station, Denver, Pop-Up, SXSW, Austin (USA)

Led operations and interactive efforts to successful open Meow Wolf’s second and third exhibitions, as well as specialty pop-up. This included safely navigating the hiring, training, and welcoming of guests through the door following Covid-19 protocols. Behavioral hiring/training model combined with performance skill development has resulted in 9.2% turnover 

Ramoji Film City (India)

With an existing company of 100 local folk dancers, challenged with producing “Disney-esque” shows, achieved creation of 17 productions of varying scales across the site inside one year. Offerings ranged from streetmosphere and children’s shows to a parade and full-scale Vegas-style production, handling all aspects including concepts, writing, directing, choreography, and design (costumes, sets, props)

Slagharen Attractie-Park (Netherlands)

Creation of Parade of Lights which utilized overhead cable car system to incorporate novel elements delivering the parade on two levels for guests

Modeschau (Germany/Czech)

In conjunction with the AMD Academy of Fashion and Design (Hamburg) and The College of Fashion Design (Prague) created high art fashion production featuring professional dancers and utilizing the student designers as models

Skyline Theatre (USA)

Critic-acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof that replaced “Fiddler” role with marionette character that was manipulated by puppeteer costumed as villager, but completely in black. Unique approached added new layer of thought for the viewer

  • BRAND REVISION

Slagharen Attractie-Park (Netherlands) Concept Team

Park revision including Mission, Vision, and Values, and new mascots central to all aspects of the park.  Created with concept and style guide for Randy and Rosie Raccoon characters who became central focus for park in marketing campaigns, entertainment programming (including Opening & Closing ceremonies, and Miracle of Lights Parade), F&B (kids’ meals), and branded retail.  New concept and successful launch resulting in sale of Slagharen to Parques Reunidos who was impressed with financial growth attributed to parks cultural change and implementation with concept

Prater, Wien (Austria) Concept Team

Drove development of all characters and associated new merchandise for Reisenradplatz, including style guide. Notable icons from the region, real and fictional, were updated, given additional backstory, and designed to appeal to both those familiar and unfamiliar with local history and folklore

Ben & Jerry’s Factory Tour Revision

Spearheaded new factory tour development working with internal marketing and graphics team to create fresh image. Changes included new entry and lobby, new tour theatre and production film, revitalized mezzanine and interactive developments, rejuvenated tasting room, and Hall of Fame as part of the existing facility.  External components included Information Hut, Sandwich Shop, Soft Serve Kiosk, and infrastructure to support new seasonal festivals and events. All aspects incorporated both original and contemporary spins on high level branding

The Petsy Mission, Vision, Values and Style Guides

Lead strategy meetings, provided definitions, and final refinements for all key components driving businesses. Request was for specific criteria to be couched with deliverables, while remaining flexible and diverse allowing for continued growth of organizations

  • DEVELOPMENT

Ramoji Film City

Creation of new organizations chart to maximize efficiencies, expanded Standard Operating Procedures, development of opening/midday/closing procedures for all rides/shops/venues, new and revised programming. Changes resulted in reduction of operating costs by 20%

Gymboree

Concepted and delivered novel new programming for organization. Developed new criteria for Gymbo mascot, character handbook, make-up design, and workshop training for franchisee and corporate locations

Let’s Put on a Show!

Originated children’s theatre workshop based on book of same name. Participants made their own costumes, helped build set pieces, fashioned props, wrote introductions, and learned basic stagecraft as part of the program. Performance was designed so each child was involved in different group configurations and had equal stage time

Planet Aqua Group

Established all front of house and back of house standards, hiring practices, guest experiences, program development, financial and marketing strategies for organization. Project has exceeded all attendance and financial expectations per pro form by 100%

 

  • REVENUE DEVELOPMENT

Meow Wolf, INC: 

Working with all LLCs to develop revenue generating programming in line with unique narrative that is viable within different sectors based on needs for group sales, FITs, special events, or site buy-outs 

Dolphin Quest Hawaii Programming

Created three programs to meet guest needs, particularly during high season when no offerings were available for last minute interest or something for families with very young children who could not participate in regular programming. Wee Tots, Dolphin Moments, and Trainer for the Week.  These programs fulfilled specific requests; price point sensitivity, programs for those under the age of 5, and extended interactive programs and had the added benefit of allowing training staff to maximize work with animals while reducing animal workload.  Roll outs of the program realized a 20% increase over budget and high marks from both guests and the hotel

Ramoji Film City (India) Filmi Duniya Retail Shop

Oversight of new shop buildout and new merchandise lines specific to a new attraction in the park. Novel fixtures designed to support the ride and a range of product including T-shirts, hats, keychains, magnets, plush, mugs, etc., featuring all new design elements

Planet Aqua Group

Created unique product and product delivery methods that resulted in passing projected revenue by an average of 50% in admissions, retail, and site-specific events. Of particular note, retail which in a limited area produced upwards of $100 a square foot over a 72-hour period

  • REORGANIZATION

Dolphin Quest Hawaii

Restructure of existing departments.  Due to economic downturn required the release of over 50% of the work force.  Focus was on cross-training and maximizing organizational efficiencies resulting in 90% staff retention during remaining tenure

Ben & Jerry’s Factory Tour Reorganization 

Brought in to clean-house and streamline operations and tour content. Developed cross-training program to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs while increasing customer service initiative across all departments.  Following reorganization, staff retention remained at 100% through tenure
